two elementary school students were hurt. investigators blame the bus driver. they cite her for failing to yield. we see cellphone video that caught the chaos right after the bus slammed into the suv. >> reporter: hospital representatives tell us that all patients were treated and released. the bus driver left from summerfield crossings elementary and crashed just a few miles away. from above eagle 8 hd showed a school bus crash that caused a frantic scene. fhp says the bus driver was making a left-hand turn off of u.s. 301 on to calley road when she collided with a blue suv. students on the bus describe the frighting scenario shortly after they left the school. >> we just felt a huge push forward and our face got on the seat. >> and there's people screaming
if we were going to get out safe. >> reporter: exclusive cellphone video shows the moments after the crash. on the ground in tears is amanda with a child. she was driving the suv. video shows the driver side of her car smashed in. she and the child were rushed to the emergency room. in this video, you can hear the 31-year-old children screaming on the bus. finally they're escorted off the bus in a single file line. parents raced to the scene in a panic. >> when i was at work, i got a call letting me know my son was in the accident. >> oh, my god, i hope everybody is okay. where is my kid at? >> reporter: eagle 8 hd captured rescue crews putting two students on stretchers. >> one of them, they had injuries on their shoulder blade and one had an injury on their head. >> reporter: fhp cited the bus driver for failing to yield. >> very concerned that this bus driver has, you know, is not driving safely. >> reporter: we reached out to

the sailor issued an apology. a strong earthquake hit northern japan. it happened at lunchtime and sent people into the street. the earthquake measured 6.7 on the richter scale. right now there are no reports of damages. this morning drug smugglers busted for trying to hide more than a ton of marijuana in a truck filled with carrots tell us. they failed to pass the sniff test. the k-9 team discovered the marijuana hidden beneath fresh carrots. agents found more than 2,000 packages of marijuana wrapped into carrot shapes with orange plastic. 8 is on your side this morning with changes to the college entrance exam many students take. the s.a.t. will be more evidence-based and overall more general, less specific concepts. and that raises questions about how we prepare our children for the test.
